Every issue of SCALE that pops (read #15 here) brings me back to something Keith Barton wrote once. I can’t remember the exact quote but in essence he said that buried deep within most fly fishers is a spin or bait casting history that bubbles up now and again in various manifestations. I for one happen to think he’s right on the money, even if most of us won’t admit it.
