Not Everybody Was Shoveling Snow Last Week: Quick Belize Tease

VC_SJBowCastJess managed to escape the cranky clutches of rapidly winterizing Vermont and spend the past 8 days working with a team doing an Orvis catalogue shoot in Belize. She’s actually stuck in the Belize City airport waiting on a delayed flight as I post this late Sunday morning.

They’ve suffered through the trial of spending the long week at El Pescador (cough, cough) and despite a bit of rain, it appears shoot days in San Pedro and at ruins in (relatively) nearby interior country went off without a hitch.

Days at the lodge and on the water appear to have been even better.

VC_FirstBoneSomewhat unexpectedly Jess finally got a chance in the bow yesterday, spending the morning out with Lori-Ann Murphy (El Pescador’s co-director of fishing) with the shoot photographer trailing in another boat (Lori-Ann was coaching away in the top pic…). From the sounds of things, and the picture to the right, she scored a couple of decent bonefish and even had a few tarpon shots.

(Dammit.)

More to come at some point.
