Casting for Recovery is hosting their 2nd Annual Cast One for Hope Single Fly Event in just under two weeks (October 3 and 4) on the Bitterroot River; the event will be based out of Hamilton (should be gorgeous this time of year…).
Read all about it via the link above; there’s a Kick-Off Party Friday night and the actual fishing event is Saturday the 4th with a celebratory shindig that evening.
There are lots of Montana folks working hard to ensure a top-flight experience; kudos to Jack Mauer of Wapiti Waters for coordinating the guides (who are donating their boats and expertise for the day) as well as the host of other Montana businesses (fishy and not) contributing items and services to the auction.
Even if you’re not a ‘competitor’ you can attend the well stocked auction (and dinner) on the 4th; preview the auction items here.
