Anyway, Shane really wanted to get into some nice fish during their trip. At some point over the weekend I got this picture:
This fly was not mauled by pliers and wire cutters. It looked like that after a big grab and a short fight. It’s not some home tie on a shitty hook either. This is, or was, a nice store bought nymph from a reputable fly shop.
The conclusion? That was a damn big fish.
