I know you guys usually fish on Super Bowl Sunday though I hope you’ll pay homage to your Northern Rockies roots and post this game day punch recipe. It’ll provide a burst of the tropics for all those suffering through winter this week, goes great with spicey (sic) game day food and salutes PM and the Broncos.
For the record, I’m fishing with friends and planning (as best we can) to get back in off the water in time to see the half time show and the second half. There’ll be a punch bowl of this waiting for us when we get in. – Cheers…

3 cups premium rum
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
1 cup simple syrup
1 pineapple, cubed (3/4 inch)
2 oranges, sliced, peel on
Mix the liquids and one sliced orange right in the punch bowl and chill for a minimum of three hours; stir well again before serving.
Serve in an ice filled rocks glass, garnish with pineapple cube and orange slice.
Enjoy.
