The window to apply for your Smith River float permit opened today and will remain open through February 20.
You can apply for a trip via the standard application process AND apply for the Super Permit as well – the Super Permit application window is open from January 6 to March 20 and allows you to launch any damn time you want to. Pretty nifty.
We’d still argue the Smith offers the potential for very nice fishing and some of the finest riverside shitters in the civilized world.
You can even save a stamp and handle all the process online.
