Join the brave faithful at high noon tomorrow on the hallowed Craig boat ramp for the 19th Annual Polar Bear Plunge and subsequent Chili Cookoff at Joe’s. While done ostensibly to raise money for the Craig Volunteer Fire Department, we suspect the event is intended as a rawboned excuse to have a good time, as if anyone in that neighborhood needs any sort of excuse to do so.
One of my last NYD resolutions was to shed enough pounds to take the plunge in a speedo. Last year’s diet and get back in shape resolutions having not been fully accomplished, baring my behind european style will have to wait until 2015.
