If I can’t be fishing this is almost as good.
Jake and I are working through the final assembly of the Winter 2014 issue of Swing the Fly due out on the 1st day of the New Year. Of course we’d rather be fishing, but this issue has an incredible collection of steelhead and Atlantic salmon imagery as well as by far and away the finest prose we’ve offered so far – that takes a bit of the sting out of spending a cloudy December afternoon stuck in our respective offices.
He gets to put it together (above) and I’m gathering, creating and finishing off different pieces of the puzzle (below).
Note to self: might want to rethink that January 1 publishing date next year.
