There are a couple of Important Fun You Should Really Go Montana river events this weekend…
The Big Hole Watershed Committee is hosting a plum of an event on Saturday afternoon – Tip the Big Hole.
The Big Hole River and watershed area are a couple of true southwest Montana gems; the river is a 155-mile long fish factory running through some of the prettiest (almost) 2 million acres of country on the planet.
The BHWC has come up with a gem of an idea – participating Big Hole River fishing guides will be pledging to donate their earned tips to the BHWC on the 22nd; there’s a host of fishy vendors coming (the most important of which is probably Big Sky Brewing Company) and some great chow is on the menu.
We’re even giving away a promotional video production along with a photographic shoot with Jess of Fire Girl Photography.
The Madison River Foundation is hosting their 11th Annual Guardians of the River Gala Banquet also on the 22nd (I understand the event has sold out once again) though it’s a great reminder to support the MRF AND comment on the Madison River Management Plan currently posted for review via the Montana FWP website.
The comment period closes tomorrow the 21st!
