The Madison-Gallatin Chapter of Trout Unlimited is hosting their Annual Banquet this Saturday.

This happens to be their primary fundraiser for the year and they have some surprisingly generous gifts to auction this year.

One of those is the original art piece above by Mimi Matsuda of Bozeman; see more of Mimi’s work here. For those of you who typically don’t find yourself purchasing original art work, you can pick up a copy of the piece from the MGTU guys for a mere $25.

Why highlight the art when there’s all sorts of gear and goodies at the auction as well? Original art carries with it a tiny bit of an artist’s magic. Artists who create and donate work to nifty causes should be long treasured. (Boat builders fit into this category as well.)

Other raffle items this year include a complete Sitka Camo gear collection, a men’s complete clothing package from Simm’s, a women’s complete clothing package from a local shop and an impressive collection of wine. RO Driftboats has offered up another drifter, Yellow Dog FlyFishing a Campeche Tarpon trip and Montana Troutfitters a Bow River trip.

Lots of other goods will be available; you can even bid by phone or email if you got some cash burning a hole in your pocket.

All for a good cause.
