Thirsty Thursday: Cabin Fever

TTCF1It’s the middle of January, snow is all over the place, and I haven’t had a day off from work in three weeks.

Cabin Fever has set in.

The novelty of winter, winter fishing, and snow is pretty much gone at this point.

Thoughts turn to the warm days of summer; camping, hiking, fishing and all the other warm weather activities we all enjoy.

Everyone deals with Cabin Fever in their own way.

One of the things that bind almost all remedies is the presence of some sort of alcohol. Cabin Fever and drinking go hand in hand. Make that, winter and drinking go hand in hand.

TTCF2January is the freaking middle of winter, with at least another two to three months before it starts warming up here in Southwest Montana. It’s also the month (for me at least) when cabin fever hits the hardest.

Time to pop the top on some Salmonfly Honey Rye and hang out in the tent I have set up in my living room…

Whatever you do to combat Cabin Fever, hang in there.
