One thing that does suck about living all over the place is you leave friends behind. But, on the plus side, you always have friends around if you need to travel somewhere or just want to get out of dodge. And it’s always interesting to see what your old friends are up to.
Such is the case with Winston. A co worker and friend from my stint in Austin, Winston is a great guy. He even came up to visit last summer. Sadly, the weather was uncooperative and the fishing sub par. However, we did manage to hook into some good fish.
Lately, he’s been working on a new project: Austin on the Fly. He is still being pretty vague on the details (all I know is it involves a sweet, beater ass jet boat – pictured below – and lots of time chasing big bass), but knowing Winston it will surely be worth the effort.
