Well I’ll be damned.
Most of the time when the weatherman says it’s going to snow, it never does. Today was one of the rare exceptions. Here in Bozeman we went from abnormally warm and dry to snow.
What I wouldn’t give to be swinging soft hackles on the Firehole right now…
I apologize for the quality of the picture. Iphones just can’t capture snow flakes, but you get the general idea.
Around these parts the fishing has been pretty slow lately. There are still fish being caught, but it hasn’t really turned on yet. This weather system should turn things around pretty well. Break out the streamer rods and tie some soft hackles.
It’s going to be a good fall.
