From Chronicles of Cod: Shrimpin’ on the Texas Coast

My grandfather’s beach house on the Texas coast (now long gone) used to be three ‘camp houses’ down from the local shrimper – Little Bob. He’d come chugging down the Colorado River after dragging East Matagorda Bay and we’d race him down the shell road to his dock to watch him unload. It’s a tough life and bears little resemblance to Bubba Gump’s empire.
