Now This Could Be Interesting: Inside the Ponoi River Company’s Ryabaga Camp for a Season

Come May we should be able to start a fairly unique series here on Chi Wulff – one of the team has just signed the contract to become the assistant camp manageress / hostess for the Ponoi River Company’s Ryabaga camp on the Kola Peninsula in the Murmansk region of the Russian Federation.

Five(+) months above the Arctic Circle on what is arguably one of the most outrageously productive salmon fisheries in the world.

Wheels are spinning pretty fast pulling things together – more details to come shortly. We’re roughly planning at least a weekly post chatting about ‘life on the river’ and a pocketful of images too.
