We’re huge fans of Hugh MacLeod in our camp.

Many of the uber creative fly fishing types have probably already seen his “How to Be Creative” manifesto first published on Change This (pdf download) and later bought the book which it became – Ignore Everybody.

Now and again I still click on the How to Be Creative pdf and read through it for inspiration and encouragement. Is his treatise the ‘final word’ on creativity?  No, it’s not, but it’s a damned good one.

While it’s chock full of nifty insights, you might find it a little dangerous. He pokes a sharp stick at the mundane and routine and will make you uncomfortable if you’ve deeply buried your creative inspirations.

The price is still right – it’s free.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
