People of Fly Fishing

Chi Wulff's People of Fly Fishing Page

Interesting people say the damnedest things.

Some of those interesting people are fly fishers.

Clearly we’re biased from where we sit, but none of us can think of any other sport or recreational sector that generates the volume of good prose, photography, videography and art that fly fishers create.  We’re also impressed as hell to note that fly fishers are beginning to wake up and smell the coffee when it comes to preservation of fish and fisheries.

That’s what led us to start posting our People of Fly Fishing interview series back in July of 2011.

Our goal has been to try (it’s not as easy as you might think) to get a glimpse into the minds and hearts of fly fishers across the country – see what makes them tick, what they’re working on and why they do what they do.

So far in the second half of 2011 we’ve interviewed conservationists, TU folks, guides, outfitters and more.

Starting in early 2012 we’ll be adding a host of others including fly fishing photographers and videographers and folks from Jake’s Thirsty Thursday series.

We’ll keep a constantly updating list of interviews posted on the site here for your reading pleasure.
