Spent a town day between river days in Missoula with Jess (of Jess McGlothlin Media to our longer-tenured friends) and happily rekindled our long friendship with the city. Mountain college towns have always had a special appeal for our clan, particularly when then have a big-assed (surf-able) river running right down through the middle of ’em – Brennan’s Wave pictured above.
The Farmer’s Market is still running full force downtown on Saturdays in October, and the array of produce still coming in was amazing.
By the way, outstanding coffee at the Florence Coffee hut and ran into Donald Sutherland at one of my lovely wife’s favorite eateries here – Caffe Dolce. Don’t miss it when you’re fishing out this way…
