90w559883210-ap_timeThis week there’s really nothing else we could post today other than the iconic Arnold Palmer in tribute to Palmer’s passing last Sunday.

It might be trite to write they simply don’t seem to make many men like Arnold Palmer these days, but they don’t.

Anyone who’s ever even taken a sniff around the world of golf has heard of The King, and scores of tributes have been shared all week recounting his tremendous talent on the golf course (both as a tournament player and designer), his gracious and humble spirit, his love of flying and his engaging, friendly personality.

There are a number of a stories floating around about the inception of the Arnold Palmer mocktail, including this vid ESPN did in 2013, though it appears to be pretty clear that Palmer and his wife came up with the idea years ago.

Pour of pitcher of these before Fall makes too much headway in your neighborhood; add a splash of vodka to make it a John Daly.

Cheers and may Palmer’s legacy be long remembered.
