It’s been a seasonably cold week here on Bozeman… saw temps as low as -10F and locals have pulled out the duct-taped Patagonia down jackets and lined Carhartts. It’s that time of year.

NFBB_JMM_29Nov_v1Between AFFTA, Yellow Dog, and a growing freelance business, things have been rather hectic and it was a pleasant surprise to get a sneak peek at a new piece coming out in Australia’s FlyLife magazine. I was able to page through one of these nice, glossy magazines this summer during a trip to the southern hemisphere, and it’s been a complete pleasure to work with their team on this feature. Sometimes editors are just plain fun to work with. I was delighted to find out I also landed the cover for the issue — my first Australian magazine cover.

The shots are from a trip this past May with Costa del Mar and the IndiFly Foundation. You’ve read about the trip here on ChiWulff, and the images can be found in the current issue of The Fly Fish Journal and in current Costa marketing material. This was the most incredible shoot I’ve been able to take part in; huge thanks to the team on the ground who got it done.

Look for the new issue of FlyLife to drop in stores and on iTunes 3 December.
