Words of the Day: Thank You, Veterans

From all of us here at Chi Wulff we’d like to offer a from-the-heart Thank You to all past and present members of the armed forces who have served and are serving our country.

We appreciate the sacrifice made by you and your families, and while we certainly can’t grasp the depth and breadth and enormity of it all, we deeply appreciate your service and sacrifice.

I suppose there are those who’d argue till the cows come home against the concept that we live in an exceptional nation. Count us among those who still believe that, despite the country’s warts, stumbles and missteps (there have been plenty, past and present, and they’re accumulating at an ever-accelerating rate), the good far, far outweighs the bad, and this is still a nation worth fighting for. As service men and women past and present, we’re supposing the vast majority of you believe that as well.

Again, thank you.

We’d also encourage all of our Chi Wulff friends to support one of the fine organizations out there supporting veterans as they return home, often to face gut-wrenching challenges. Consider a donation of time and cash to one of these groups and the many others quietly serving veterans on the front lines out there.
