2014 in Review

in Damn!

Holy shit, it’s New Year’s Eve again.

2014 was a hell of an interesting year.  And a pretty damned good one, if you ask me.  It saw good times and bad, heartbreak and love, the start of a good new job, and a return home to where I belong.  It brought great new friends, many adventures and the mishaps that occur with them, lots of laughs and a few hangovers, and someone very special.  2014 saw my first carp, my first green drake hatch on the Railroad Ranch, and the first time I floated down the Yellowstone in my underwear (long story).   I got to be there for two close friend’s last fishing trips in Montana, reminding me that every day spent with people you enjoy should be treasured.

The year flew by faster than those before, prompting me to think there is truth in the old adage that time goes by faster the older you get.  Rather than tell you everything that happened this year, here are some of my favorite pictures from this past year, in a somewhat chronological order.

Thanks to everyone who played a role in this past year.  Here’s to another good one.
