It’s always sad when friends move.  But it’s a little less sad when they’re moving to a very fishy part of Florida and extend an open invitation for you to come visit.  As part of the move, this friend is selling his beloved drift boat, a 15′ ClackaCraft HeadHunter II skiff.

I’m not going to say it is the best rowing skiff out there. I will say I’ve rowed almost everything in the last 21 years and this boat is really special. She is exceptionally sneaky, very shallow draft, very light weight.
I would prefer to sell to someone who hates bobber as much as I do. Less than 30 whitefish have been landed in this boat, seriously. A lot of trout over 2’…

She is a Headhunting Machine; Please be a headhunter.

In fact if you bring a “No Nymphing will take place contract” I’ll knock off 200.00.

The boat is in Bozeman. I can show her most afternoons after work. I will send pics to serious people only.
thanks,
B

I’ve personally fished out of this boat and can attest to it’s condition and how well it rows.  It’s good stuff.  The no nymphing contract is pretty tempting to save $200…  I wouldn’t believe many people who said less than 30 whitefish have been landed by a boat, but I do believe this claim.  As much as I want to help a friend out and see his boat sell, he mentioned last night that if it doesn’t sell before he leaves next month then it gets to live at my house.

If you are interested, or would like to see more pictures, either leave a comment or shoot me an email and I’ll put you in touch with the owner.
