River Snorkel: Pocket Water from River Snorkel on Vimeo.

From the Vimeo posting – My uncle’s family homesteaded just downstream from this beautiful section of pocket water. I’ve always looked at the big hole below this stretch as a prime fishing spot. Recently my buddy Orien and I headed up to see what’s in that big green hole. Turns out, we never even made it. A school of feisty Rainbow Trout captured our attention and we watched them pick off some kind of emerging insects that were unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Exiting the water after two hours of swimming, we both felt that my uncle’s family picked a good spot.
