While fishing the Lower Madison just downstream of the Red Mountain Campground last week, we ran across an unusual sight. A catfish. It was dead, but still. A catfish in the Madison.
I have never seen any in that section, or even heard of them in there. Maybe it’s a common thing, but it sure surprised the hell out of us. Has anyone seen this before?
