The outdoor world has been abuzz this week with news of the partnership of New Belgium Brewing and Patagonia for the creation of their California Route Organic Lager. This limited edition brew is to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Patagonia. (For those of you who don’t already know the story of how they came to be, check out Chouinard’s excellent book “Let My People Go Surfing” for more on the history of this awesome company).
This special beer is packaged in a special can adorned with Patagonia’s awesome logo. This is a very limited production run, and will only be available in a few cities. Word on the street around here is that it will be available the week of Thanksgiving. If anyone around the Seattle area has a positive ID on where to find these once they hit shelves, I expect an email….
