Calling All Fly Fishing Babes…

in Women in Fly Fishing

Fire Girl Jess sent this over from her outpost in the wilds of western Wyoming this morning.

Free is good. Involving more women in fly fishing is great.

Trout Unlimited needs the powerful voice of female anglers.

As a woman angler and conservationist, I’d like to thank you for your support of Trout Unlimited. Please also join me in welcoming more female anglers to the TU community.

Right now, we’re offering free memberships for all women anglers who are new to TU. Simply forward this email to all of your female angling friends.

We’re also starting new efforts to introduce women anglers to TU’s community of passionate angler conservationists. This past summer, TU held its first annual national women’s fly fishing retreat in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Women anglers from all over the country enjoyed great fishing, camaraderie and celebrated many of the women who contribute to TU’s conservation efforts.

During the next year, we’ll also be hosting local casting clinics including free memberships for women who walk away with a new passion for fishing cold clean water and an interest in TU’s efforts to protect those resources for today and future generations.

Women are critical to TU. Whether it’s to help save incredible places like Alaska’s Bristol Bay, teach our youth about the importance of cold, clean water, or simply share our passion for fishing with others…we can’t do it without you. That’s why I hope you’ll help introduce more women anglers to TU with this special free membership offer.

Thanks for your support of TU. We’ll see you on the water.

Sincerely,
Erin Mooney?TU’s Women’s Outreach Coordinator & National Press Secretary?Trout Unlimited
