Of course we’re biased as hell, but without a doubt it’s true that the fly fishing blogosphere produces a plethora of inspired reading most every day.

We’ve taken to calling the fly fishing blogs we follow the FFlogs of late. Here’s a roundup of particularly notable reads from this morning.

From Angling Trade Magazine – A post highlighting the recent report of the state of the Gulf of Mexico fishery from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. Read the full TRCP report on the GOM here.

KB waxes poetic on fly design at Singlebarbed.

Moldy very appropriately awards the Pricks of the Week award to The San Joaquin River Group.

In a bold display of legislative prowess, Texas makes cheating in fishing tournaments a crime. (Looks like the NYTs enjoys poking fun at Texicans as much as we do.)

Michael Gracie offers up a nifty review of Keeper, Martin Donovan’s first person narrative of life as a riverkeeper.

And finally from the ‘How can they be this stupid department’ – the NPS plans to close critical access points on the Bighorn for rehab during the high use season. Read about it here.
