Yesterday afternoon it was almost 70 in the Big Sky Meadow and down the road to the northern border of the Park on 191; with that kind of warmth, lots of sun and snow in the high country, Taylor Fork was pumping mud into the Gallatin – here’s a pic right taken literally right at the confluence.  The Gallatin should be stained all the way down today.

Clean water rolling above Taylor Fork.

A sunny Paradise Valley day at Chico; if you’ve not ventured over to Chico Hot Springs you’ll need to put it on your bucket list.  We’ve got it on the list for a Fish Can’t Read feature for January or March as well. Has anyone stayed in Chico’s fishermen’s lodge – it’s the long white / green roofed building on the hill on the right?

A ‘Big Sky Day’ on the Yellowstone a couple of days ago; it was crappy mid-day light when She Who Must Be Obeyed and I stopped at the Mallard’s overlook, but you get the point…..
