I’ve got to agree this morning with my friends at the Kingfisher shop in Missoula – when you look at water temps, the Bitterroot has had the advantage over other waters in the area for most of the week.

The warming weather and rain due over the next several days should produce some fine fishing weather, and some long awaited fall dry fly fishing.

Look for Baetis and mahoganies throughout the system, but they should be particularly better on the lower reaches of the river.

‘Nuff said.  Get out there.

Even the Bozeman boys could catch fish over here this weekend.
