Not a lot different from the past few weeks given the fact we’re stuck in a high pressure dominated, bright sun, and warm pattern.
That said, hoppers are fading in effectiveness; some of that is seasonal, some of that is due to the fact that fish have seen a massive flotilla of foam hoppers pass by this season. The best terrestrial window is midday as you’d expect, and don’t forgo beetles, ants, bees and crickets.
Our friends nymphing on the ‘Stone report as many whitefish as any other, but it’s working. Streamers early and late, though we’ve really not hit streamer season just yet.
Cooler weather and some clouds (think positive for Sunday) should bring out some Olives.
