rain

Due to all the rain in recent days, the Gallatin has blown back out.  Taylor Fork is pumping a lot of mud into the rivers, as are all of the feeder creeks and tribs.  Flows have bumped back up almost to the 80th percentile.  Clarity is gone, all of several inches right now.

Before the water muddied up again, fish were rising to caddis, PMDs, scattered Salmonflies, and more.  Those hatches are still there, but the fishing is going to be less than optimal for the next few days as all this rain moves on through the river.  Above Taylor Fork, the Gallatin is going to be fishing well.  Anything below there, you are going to be waiting a while.
