Jess and I were in the Park yesterday and caught a great storm rolling across the western park of the Park; the clouds on the Firehole were stupendous.  The pic above was just before the storm rolled in; I’ll have more pics up later today.

The river has been fishing better and better over the past week or so; the evening Caddis have been amazing, and clarity above Bonner (above the Blackfoot) has been quite good. 
The rains / showers wandering around the area have bumped flows a bit this morning but it shouldn’t be a real issue.

I’m leaving Bozeman this morning with friends at or before 7 to hit Slough Creek and maybe the Lamar or Pebble - if things work according to schedule we should be able to catch the Gray Drakes….
Mark will have the new camera on the Madison today, but I’ll try and get a bucket full of decent pics [...]

One of the things that I really love about this area is the fact that most of the waters are on varying schedules.  Right when a hatch, say stoneflies, starts to turn off on one river, they show up somewhere else.  This is the case with the Gardner right now: the stoneflies are out.
