The Yellowstone in the Park is very close to fishing well.  The area below the Lake remains closed until the 15th of this month.  Flows are starting to creep back down to manageable levels.

Slough has really made the turn over the past week or so. 
Some of the best fishing on the year on Slough will happen in the next few weeks.  Fish are hungry, bugs are plentiful and varied, and the fish haven’t been pounded into an ultra-wary state.

Soda has been looking better this week and will be in much better shape by the end of next week. 
It’s still high and cold, even running out of its banks in places, and a reliable report from a very good friend on Thursday suggested there wasn’t much insect activity rolling along just yet.
