This should be the week for Slough to really start fishing.
Caddis, PMDs, Stone flies will be on the menu. Even the water below the campground will fish this time of year.
Big dark (black, dark brown) streamers will produce this time of year too; a black bugger with some flash worked for us at about this [...]

First of all, Happy Independence Day! Take some time to celebrate our country and all that it means to be free.
Secondly, I hope you aren’t planning on celebrating by fishing the Yellowstone in the park. The river right below the lake does not open until the 15th. The canyons are slowly getting into fishable shape. [...]
