Unlike the Bitterroot, the Clark Fork hasn’t experienced a big bump in flows at all, only up to a tad over 4000 cfs this morning (4010 cfs at Turah Bridge this morning).

The wait for Salmonflies on the Blackfoot is over. The big bugs are all over the water. Despite the recent rains over here, flows are remaining to drop and the water is clear.
The dry fly fishing is very good. Lots and lots of caddis are around. So are PMDs, golden stones and some green drakes. [...]
