Now and then a woman simply has to visit the ‘big city’; the one who must be obeyed sojourned over to the metropolis of Missoula Monday and Tuesday.  She visited with Jess while over there, and they walked a bit along the Clark Fork.  There are some impressive fish just below the Higgins Avenue bridge.

Finally, after much waiting, Rock Creek is about to become one of the hot waters in the state.  Flows have dropped back down to manageable levels and the water is clearing.  The warmer weather this week will get the big bugs moving and the trout looking for them.

Drove over to Livingston last night with the one who must be obeyed and Jake for dinner – where? Mark’s In and Out, of course – and took a gander at the river just for the hell of it. The pic is the view south from the Carter’s bridge.
